Chris Ecklund is a glassblower based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chris started working with glass in 1997 with friends in a garage, and has been perfecting his craft since. Chris spent 3 years learning the art of working with soft glass at a small community college outside of Phoenix, Arizona before cementing his passion in lampworking. Inspired by nature and the captivating interaction between light and glass, his attention to detail brings vibrancy and depth to each handcrafted piece. His work has been showcased at esteemed venues including The American Glass Expo and The Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Chris has also shared his love of glass through live demonstrations at private parties and for school career days. He is currently showcased at One World Humboldt in Eureka, CA and sells his glass at various art shows.
